The Village Early Learning Center offers an exceptional after-school program that combines guidance and security with opportunities for independent exploration to give K-5th graders both the freedom and the structure they need. Our proprietary ANTS curriculum focuses on Arts, Nature, Teambuilding and Sports for a truly unique and fun out-of-school-time experience. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) are woven into the curriculum as well, and transportation to our program from several different area schools is offered during the academic year (August-May). Here are just some of the opportunities offered in the A.N.T.S program:
Arts and crafts, dramatic play
Science, technology, and engineering exploration
Field trips, games, community projects
Social interaction and teamwork activities
Homework help and study time
Engaging, organized outdoor recreation and sports
The A.N.T.S. After School program focuses on the unique needs of children in grades K-5 in an environment where children are regarded as curious, creative, and capable citizens of the community. Professional coaches model empathy and respect for others and help the children to cultivate and practice these traits as they participate in fun and educational activities. Character building curriculum helps the children develop into responsible students and citizens. Low student-to-coach ratios help keep children safe and engaged.
Teacher workdays, holidays, and school breaks offer an opportunity for students to attend full days, field trips, and extra special activities. Schedule a tour today to learn more.
